BRIEF:
Without a doubt, Coca-Cola are one of the strongest brands and most successful companies in the world, and when their visitor centre needed that extra
boost and appeal they turned to the PR consultancy firm - Citigate Smarts. So the guys at Citigate got in contact with us here at frog to develop an Ice Hockey game.
frog knew the game would have to ooze appeal and quality - and be a product worthy of the Coca-Cola brand.
The final game would be played by two players, via joypads on a huge plasma screen in the Coca-Cola Visitor Centre.
SOLUTION:
The Coca-Cola polar bear characters were used to represent the players, and frog brought them to life with some cool animation and effects.
frog programmed some pretty unique functionality to allow joypads to be used for both players, and this proved very successful.
We knew the game should appeal to all ages, so the controls are very quick to learn, but there are some interesting features available for older players.
The full range of multimedia effects were used to really lift this game above any others out there - high quality audio, smooth animation and digital effects all combine seemlessly; yet because of frog's experience in this field, the final game doesnt need a super fast machine to run on!
RESULT:
As soon as the game was launched, the visitors to the Coca-Cola centre were able to start playing and enjoying this new attraction.
The game continues to perform brilliantly, with absolutely no bugs or crashes it remains reliable and sturdy - even the joypads which frog had specially sourced for the job are robust enough to stand up to the constant demand for this game.
