BRIEF:
When our good friends at Zirkus contacted us about a job for Laganside Corporation, frog knew that this was going to be an exciting one to work on.
Laganside was created by the government to instigate the social and economic redevelopment of Belfast's Lagan River; and to date has secured over £800 million of investment into the area!
Unfortunately, Laganside was hindered by the overwhelming amount of pictures, videos, and information they held on their computer system. So frog was tasked to design and develop a software application that would allow
any Laganside employee to quickly put together a presentation and browse through all the media they had access to.
The application then needed to be burnt onto a CD and used as a leave-behind during sales meetings and presentations.
SOLUTION:
frog developed a new system whereby eash user can save their presentation either to their own hard drive, or to the server - where other Laganside employees can then access, edit, and revise it.
The application can hold an unlimited amount of photographs, videos, Flash animations and test info - and these are all made available to Laganside employees by an easy to use 'drop down' menu system
When a CD is created from the application, it is secure. That is, the user can only view those images, videos, etc that the Laganside employee has approved for them.
The application creates a unique style & look to all Laganside's presentations, unlike before when they were developed using Microsoft PowerPoint and could vary significantly in quality from employee to employee
RESULT:
The application now enjoys constant use with Laganside, and has been updated several times since it was launched.
Using frog's application, it is possible to create a complete presentation with intro animation, video and photographs (all with accompanying text if desired) in just a couple of minutes!
